Here, we will take a short break to enjoy a hot coffee or chocolate and get ready for the hike. You will also have time to use the facilities before continuing to Pacchanta, the starting point of our trek to the breathtaking 7 Lagoons of Ausangate.
Along the way, we will pass through stunning landscapes featuring turquoise lagoons of different sizes, remote Andean communities, and a variety of local wildlife, including alpacas, llamas, and birds that inhabit the region.
After exploring this beautiful natural attraction, we will descend to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our professional chef. All ingredients are fresh and sourced locally from the Ausangate markets, ensuring an authentic culinary experience.

Our first challenge is the ascent to Upis Pass, the highest point of this route. From here, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Andean landscapes, with mountains naturally painted in different colors.After the climb, we will begin our descent to the Ausangate Lagoon, a truly extraordinary place. Near the lagoon, we will stop for a delicious lunch with panoramic views of its stunning turquoise waters.
After a well-deserved rest, we will continue our trek, ascending to the second pass of Ausangate, Puka Khasa. From this point, you will get your first glimpse of the Rainbow Mountain, bringing us closer to our final destination.We will finish the day with a two-hour descent to our campsite at Ananta Pampa, where we will spend the night surrounded by the majestic Andean landscape.
Get ready for another day of adventure and deep connection with naturThe first part of the trail involves a challenging ascent to Warmisaya Pass. From there, we descend towards a stunning turquoise lagoon, a clear sign that we are getting closer to the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain.
This last stretch of the trek is short but demanding, with the effort rewarded by the majestic and vibrant colors of the mountain. We leave camp early to be among the first to arrive, avoiding the large crowds that come from Cusco by vehicle.
Here, you’ll have plenty of time to take iconic photos, enjoy the panoramic views, and fully appreciate the magic of this incredible place. Afterward, we descend for about one hour to reach our final lunch spot, where we’ll enjoy a well-deserved meal before boarding our transport back to Cusco.
