The Rainbow Mountain is a natural and captivating formation in the Andes of Peru, located in the Cusco region. This colorful mountain is a must-visit after your trip to Machu Picchu. You can embark on a 2-hour trek to appreciate the stunning beauty of Ausangate, also known as the Seven Colors Mountain. We recommend considering this trek after your 2-day Inca Trail hike, or it can be your next adventure following a visit to Humantay Mountain.
Both of these tourist destinations offer significant advantages for your visit, as you have the option to use horses for the ascent, making your journey more manageable. After your Inca Trail experience, exploring Rainbow Mountain or Humantay can be a wonderful continuation of your Peruvian adventure.
