Terms and Conditions: Booking and Refunds
machupicchu path(Inca Trail Classic) is a 100% indigenous travel agency, legally established and fully recognized under Peruvian law, based in the city of Cusco.
By making a reservation with inca trail classic, the traveler fully accepts and agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
Deposit to Confirm the Reservation:
To secure and confirm any tour or trek to Machu Picchu, a non-refundable deposit of USD 200 per person is required.
This deposit is immediately used to:
Purchase Machu Picchu entrance tickets
Purchase train tickets
Secure official government permits
Make advance payments to operational staff (guides, cooks, porters, and others)
Since all services are purchased in advance and under the traveler’s personal name and passport details.
✅ The deposit is strictly non-refundable
✅ The deposit is non-transferable
✅ Personal data cannot be modified once tickets are issued
These conditions follow the regulations of the official Peruvian government system.
Payment Platform:
All deposit payments are processed securely through WeTravel.
WeTravel may charge a processing fee of up to 3%
This transaction fee is paid by the traveler
Non-Refund Policy:
Once the deposit payment has been made and the tickets have been issued:
The traveler’s space is officially registered under their name
The government system does not allow changes, cancellations, or refunds
Machupicchu Path cannot recover or claim these funds
Therefore, no refunds are granted under any circumstance for the deposit
Final Balance Payment:
The remaining balance of the tour must be paid in full in the city of Cusco before the start of the trip.
Exact payment details and deadlines will be coordinated directly with your travel consultant.
Cancellation Policy (60 Days Before the Trip):
Due to the advance purchase of tickets and services issued under the traveler’s name, the following cancellation conditions apply:
✅ Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour start date:
A possible refund only of the amount paid beyond the deposit may be evaluated
Administrative, banking, and already contracted service costs will be deducted
The USD 200 deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstance
❌ Cancellations made within 60 days before the tour start date:
No refunds will be issued
This includes cancellations due to:
Personal reasons
Illness
Flight delays
Changes in itinerary
Force majeure
No Show Policy:
If the traveler fails to appear on the day of the tour departure:
❌ No refund will be issued
❌ The tour will be considered fully used
❌ The reservation cannot be transferred to another person or date

By making any deposit or payment, the traveler confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted all the Terms and Conditions of Machupicchu Path Peru

When a client reserve a machupicchu path, we immediately send their information to the machupicchu park, so that they issue the entrance tickets to machupicchu. You need to bring your passport with which you reserved for your trek or tour, is that valid, if you bring a new passport for renewal you will have to take both passports for the controls in Machupicchu, because once we reserve Machupicchu they have your information, how is your name, surname, sex and gender.
