Wiñay Wayna is the place to have lunch, and from there, you walk on a gentle, almost flat Inca trail until reaching the Sun Gate, with an approximate time of 1.5 hours. From the Sun Gate, you can already see the city of Machu Picchu. This place is a resting and enjoying spot for every traveler, with a view of the Machu Picchu valley. From there, we will continue walking for approximately 40 minutes to reach the city of Machu Picchu.
What time does it start from Cusco?
At 4 am, we start picking up travelers from their hotels in Cusco to head to the city of Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train. The train will take us to kilometer 104 where we will disembark to begin walking the famous short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

The tourist train departs from Ollantaytambo at 6:10 am and takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach kilometer 104. The train is operated by PeruRail, providing a tourist service with an impressive outward view to enjoy the nature and remote villages through which the train passes.
